It has been four years since we decided to develop a tool to facilitate the development of Business Angel markets in Europe. There had been initiatives to promote the informal investment market and iniatives to incentivize Angel investments but no one had ever thought about the creation of a generally applicable, capacity building tool that would prepare entrepreneurs for their fund seeking journey, help Virgin Angels to learn from the experiences of fellow investors and ultimately support the development of emerging Business Angel markets by introducing common practices, formality and rigour build on best practices from all over Europe.

Today, 4 years and about 50 training events later we have come up with a tested, pan-European training package. The sessions have been delivered in 11 countries in Europe with more than 680 participants.

From September 2010 the training will be offered by the Ready for Equity! Academy™ which will be officially launched on 21st September 2010 in Győr, Hungary.
