Due to our pan-European expertise and experience made in different informal investment markets being in varying stages of development we truly believe in the concept of an all-embracing ecosystem to support entrepreneurship.

As we do offer trainings for Business Angels and Entrepreneurs we felt that there was a piece in the puzzle missing to really support the creation of this ecosystem. Therefore, we have developed a series of seminars aimed at the intermediaries to promote the creation of an innovation friendly environment and help our colleagues in new Angel networks in both, mature and less mature informal investment markets to significantly improve the success rate and quality of services they offer to their clients.

There are two major elements in our BANM portfolio, the first in a one day seminar describing and discussing the structures of business angel investing and its value added to regional development. This seminar is primarily aimed at government representatives and decision makers who need to gather information on the informal investment markets and tools to support its development.

The second pillar is an all embracing training programme for Business Angel network managers.

The six month mentoring programme comprises 5 training sessions (2 days) specifically aiming at BAN managers, skype conferences with your mentor every other week and two study visits at the mentors offices. The training sessions include topics such as:

• The funding landscape and innovation environment

• Types of Business Angel Networks and their promotion

• investment pitches: preparation, execution and controlling

• screening and matching

• investor and investmentreadiness and added value offered by BANs
