Ready for Equity Projektet initierades i Oktober 2006 för att identifiera och förstĺ de huvudproblem som hämmar utvecklingen av Affärsängelaktiviteter i Europa.

Även om det är svĺrt att samla in noggranna data on informellt risk kapital, är det uppenbart att Europa ligger starkt efter USA i detta avseende. I England exempelvis, uppskattas det att informella investerare bara lyckas tillfredsställa 10 % av potentiell efterfrĺgan. Men man kan dock konstatera att över hela Europa ökar den entreprenöriella verksamheten.

During the Ready for Equity!™ project the partners shared best practices, tools and mechanisms in place throughout the different regions in Europe to develop a structured and all-embracing training program targeted at improving the capacity of informal investors and Business Angels, and to prepare entrepreneurs seeking finance.

The results from the second RfE!™ project, RfE!2™ are the basis for the training package which has been successfully tested in 11 European countries with a total of 680 participants and is offered through the Ready for Equity! Academy™.
